After four consecutive years in the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors seem to be a lock to do so again, especially after adding DeMarcus Cousins. They may still fail to do so, though, and the reason for that is Paul George.

Anthony Davis Requested a Trade…

Two days ago, Anthony Davis requested a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans, becoming the biggest name to want out since Kawhi Leonard in the summer. Davis has been a member of the Pelicans for seven years and is eligible to become a free agent after next season. Davis, though, does not seem to want to stay until the end of next season, and he clarified that with his recent request.

Timing is everything.

NBA Trade Machine: John Wall to the Knicks

In the lull of the early season, I decided to speculate on some spicier subjects: namely, trades. The trade deadline season is one of the most exciting times of every sport, and basketball is even more so. In the past two years, we have seen so many stars go on the move, from Kawhi Leonard, to Kyrie Irving, to Chris Paul, to Paul George, to Jimmy Butler (twice). The flurry of moves in recent years has spoiled us fans into expecting big splashes continually.
